Aston Martin Virage Release at 2011 Geneva Auto Show

Aston Martin was release a new model, that is  Aston Martin Virage  and will make debut at 2011 Geneva Auto Show.The Virage has two body styles: a two-door coupe and a soft-top convertible. Aston Martin said in coupe form, the Virage is available as a 2+2 or 2+0 as an option.

The Virage’s mid-mounted 5.9-liter V12 makes 490 horsepower. It is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph. The EPA has not yet provided a fuel-economy rating on the Virage.The cabin gets a full leather treatment, with sports seats and walnut trim. Standard equipment includes cruise control, satellite navigation, Bluetooth, a premium audio system and iPod integration.

Power for the Aston Martin Virage and the drop-top Virage Volante comes from a 6.0L V12 making 490-hp with a maximum torque of 420 lb-ft. The engine is mated 6-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission mounted on the transaxle helping with a 50:50 weight balance. The models also feature a newly developed Adaptive Damping System (ADS) that ‘reads’ the road to provide the best road holding, adapting to various conditions. Both come standard with Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes.

Gaydon, 11 October 2010 - Aston Martin is pleased to confirm that the Cygnet luxury city car – originally shown as a concept car in March - is to go into production in 2011 at the company's Gaydon headquarters in Warwickshire.

The Aston Martin Cygnet is a city car that sets a new benchmark for compact luxury, building upon nearly a century of experience building high performance sports cars, luxurious long-range grand tourers, and extremely competitive racing machines.

The Aston Martin One-77 saga is drawing to its epic finale. At the glitzy Concorso d’Eleganza on the shores of Lake Como this weekend, the million-pound supercar was shown off with its production interior and running powertrain, effectively completing the big, expensive One-77 jigsaw. It looks, in a word, stunning. We’ve seen the One-77’s gilled, sculpted exterior before, but take a look at that hand-crafted interior – the woven seats, the silvery switchgear, the leather, the carbon fibre. Not bad, eh? We’re assuming the grubby footwell isn’t standard issue, but we’re quite happy with the rest of it, ta. The One-77 is set to go on sale next year, armed with a 7.0-litre V12 putting out around 700bhp.


Aston says all 77 examples have already been sold – at a cost of around £1.2 million apiece. It’s already scooped its first piece of silverware: on its weekend outing, the One-77 received the Concorso d’Eleganza Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes. Good news, but surely with a production exterior, interior and powertrain it’s pushing the definition of ‘concept’? Talking of silverware, Aston has also announced that the V12 Vantage will race in the Nurburgring 24 Hour race this May. Lining up alongside the V8 Vantage that has competed since 2006, the giant-engined ‘baby Aston’ – described as having only received ‘minor modifications’ for the endurance race – will be driven by Aston CEO Dr Ulrich Bez. i had the best idea in the world for this aston. as people know the concepts front lights had been blacked out from view and revealed they are not the prettiest things in the world. But this the idea. you know them lenses you can get frm specsavers tht go darker in the sun light and se through in the dark put them on the headlights. think when do you use the lights in the dark. when you go into a tunnel the headlight lenses would be clear. and then i found the great short fall in this plan. when you turn the lights on the lenses would go dark. ow well1

Vantage N420 (behind the same figure the power generated by the engine), dealing directly with Aston Martin's success in the modern era of racing, including 24-hour endurance race at Nurburgring, Germany. According to Aston Marin, both variants are produced to celebrate the greatness of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

If you are still not satisfied with the luxury provided by Aston Martin RAPIDE, the British luxury car manufacturer has just announced an exclusive package of bongsor sedan, namely RAPIDE Luxe.
